23 August at 2:00 pm til 4:00 pm
The CommuniTea project is a collaborative effort by interested folks across Wester Hailes to grow, forage, harvest and process medicinal plants into dried herbal teas for use by local residents and our Wester Hailes Community Herbal Medicine Clinic.
At these sessions we will either be out as a group foraging wild herbs from the canal or the Calders Community Garden, harvesting herbs grown in the area for processing and drying or making up medicinal tea blends in the community garden shed.
Anyone is welcome, and the sessions are free, though all herbs will be given out to local residents only. All sessions are at the Calders Community Garden unless otherwise stated, found next to the Bridge 8 Hub on the Union Canal, next to Calder Crescent. If you can’t see anyone, we may be in the shed!
