15 July at 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm
In this free ‘Granton:hub Herbals’ series our evening sessions will alternate between making remedies together from our herbs in the granton:hub garden, & heading out on herb walks with the Edinburgh Shoreline Project discovering our wild herbs together & finding areas we can plant up! The herb walks will explore the correct identification, sustainable and respectful harvesting, ecology and uses of our wild medicinal plants.
In this session we will be in the granton:hub, discovering the herbs we have been growing together and wild herbs of the season & tending to them. Then we will be heading inside to discuss their medicinal uses and make remedies together. Kids activities will also be provided – please let us know if you are coming along with wee ones.
Please email [email protected] for details and to book your free place. Priority will be given to folks living in the Granton/Pilton/Muirhouse area.
